Fixed Cryochamber

State-of-the-art stationary cryochamber

Safety Systems

Oxygen level in the treatment chamber and the antechamber is constantly monitored. If the level falls below 19%, the chamber is automatically turned off and the screen displays an appropriate message.

The treatment chamber is also equipped with an emergency button for the patients.

After pressing the button, an alarm will sound, its source located on the front wall of the chamber.

In the event of damage to the thermometers that control the therapeutic temperatures (there are two installed), the chamber automatically switches off, the computer emits an alarm system and the displays an appropriate message.

Primary Technical Data

  • Size of the cryogenic chamber: length x width x height: 3500 x 2000 x 2500 mm

  • Power supply 230v, 5kW, 3x4mm2, protection 25A, with a core cable taken into the service room

  • Prefabricated structure (the size of the elements allows them to be delivered through a standard door frame), consisting of a prechamber and a treatment chamber with thermally insulated walls

  • Interior of the cryochamber; patient-friendly with lime-wood panelling

  • Number of patients at any one time; between 2 and 4 people, depending on the disability degree

  • Cooling agent; liquid nitrogen

  • Therapeutic temperature range; -110°c to -160°c

  • Automatic control via a touch screen PLC, after input of the operating parameters

  • Constant monitoring of oxygen level in the treatment chamber

  • Audio system between the therapist and the patient

  • Power supply 230v, 5kW, 3x4mm2, protection 25A, with a core cable taken into the service room

Liquid gas container

Liquid nitrogen is currently manufactured and supplied by the following companies: Air Products, Linde, Messer, Air Liquide. The supplier of the cooling agent at the same time supplies the container (based on a lease agreement).

The investor is obliged to just prepare the foundation plate for the container according to the specifications of the container supplier for the particular container type with an EC Certificate.

Please note that the investor is solely responsible for the supply of the cooling agent.
